Blocks!: Richard III

Richard the Third is an epic two-player wargame that recreates the bloody dynastic conflict between the Houses of Lancaster and York for the throne of England.

Will the mad King Henry VI and his Queen Margaret keep the throne? Or will the Duke of York restore power to the Plantagenets? Edward IV, Richard III, Henry VII, and Warwick, the “Kingmaker,” also battle it out on the stage .

The goal of the game is to eliminate all five heirs and/or gain control of the important nobility of England.

The Lancasters start with the throne in hand, while the Yorks are in exile but ready to invade. Control of the throne can be gained and lost multiple times during the game.

Will Richard III emerge victorious, or will he disappear in battle, as happened in real history?

The game is currently played in the format “1 player vs AI” or “2 players at one seat (hot seat mode)
