Long ago, the world of magic was separated from the natural world by the Elemental Gate. One day, the seal on the gate was broken, and magical creatures once thought to be myths poured into the natural world – fairies. The merging of the worlds was imperfect, and much of the land was torn apart. The destruction claimed the lives of most of the population, both natural creatures and fairies. Those who survived began new lives in the ruins of the old worlds, but growing tensions between humans and fairies threaten to complete what began with the opening of the gates.
