Astral Ascent

Astral Ascent is a 2D platformer and a simplified roguelike set in a fantasy reality in modern times. Four heroes with unique personalities are trying to escape from The Garden, an astral prison guarded by 12 godlike and treacherous Zodiacs.

Unlock dozens of abilities for four characters. Improve your tried and tested build and experiment with new spell combinations to defeat 12 powerful bosses. Grow stronger with each new attempt to one day fight the enemy on equal terms. Each run will test your reaction speed and skills.

The Zodiacs are 12 battle-hardened guardians wandering across 4 worlds. When fighting them, memorize their unique attacks, spells, and patterns, and try to learn their backstory to understand why they are fighting you.

• Ayla. The sole survivor of the Assassins’ Guild. With her blades, she can finish off an enemy faster than they can blink. She has incomparable speed and professionalism.
• Kieran. An orphan who has had a hard life. So strong that he can scatter a crowd of enemies with his bare hands. A beast.
• Kalli. A talented sculptor, he wants to return to freedom. With the help of magic stones, he pierces the defense of enemies and tears them to pieces. Merciless.
• Octave. A pupil of a powerful witch. Shoots enemies with ethereal pistols, and can craft more formidable weapons if needed.

Astral Ascent is a roguelike with a deep narrative. Replayability is part of the story, which will gradually unfold with each new playthrough. As you become stronger, you will learn more about the characters, their motivations, and the secrets of the world in which they are trapped.
