In the mysterious attack on your ship, many managed to escape. Each survivor has unique abilities: the Cook can chop everything in his path, the Defender – hold back enemies and cover his team, and the beloved monster Akrid – splashes poisonous slime! Try out different playstyles by choosing any of the 15 characters.

Meet the Vagabond! She collects all sorts of junk from defeated enemies and creates items that give temporary bonuses to her comrades. And if she uses such an item herself, she will deal a devastating blow to the area. The Vagabond is useful in any group of survivors. Supporting her team and taking down monsters, she will prove that such a companion can be useful.

Looking for a thrill? Choose up to 11 artifacts that will affect the game in different ways! What if you want to start the game with random equipment that changes every time you use it? Or maybe you like the demon invasion every 10 minutes? Combine different artifacts and discover new playstyles.

Fight your way to the surface, finding valuable cargo along the way. These items will allow you to move faster, deal more damage, or jump a little higher. Particularly powerful items provide particularly powerful bonuses. The Ukulele, for example, charges your attacks with electricity with its music. Do you like explosions? Find the Shining Machine and all your attacks will turn into a powerful flurry of explosions. The beauty lies in the unpredictable combinations you create. Explosive chain lightning is just the beginning of your crazy masterpiece!

Petrichor V is inhabited by creatures from many different planets. When they were threatened with extinction on their home worlds, some mysterious force brought them to Petrichor V. Soon, this planet became home to the most dangerous monsters in the galaxy, and they are not happy with aliens like you. Activate ancient teleporters scattered around the planet and go through all 10 biomes. Survive and reach the ship you were forced to abandon.

Descend to the surface alone or with your team! Choose survivors that complement each other — or just go with the one with the bigger gun (spoiler: the loader). Up to 4 players can play locally or online in co-op . Risk of Rain Returns offers an improved multiplayer mode: nothing will stop you from fighting the numerous monsters of Petrichor V.
