Heroes of Shaola is an action RPG that blends epic fantasy with medieval realism, set in a corrupted world where moral ambiguity reigns. The Zenman Empire is the largest power in the world. It is located in the central region, surrounded by the bloodthirsty Kingdom of Martia (formerly the Martia Tribe) to the north, the deceptively powerful Kingdom of Amazail to the south, and the unpredictable House of Lagidis to the west.
Every year, vassal factions must pay tribute to the Zenman Empire in gifts, weapons, women, and gold.
The capital of the empire, the city of Zalumi, is protected by the four most powerful noble families: the Sutherlands, the Pantelakos, the Totens, and the Rileys.
One morning, Leonardo, the only child of the Sutherlands, was nowhere to be found. His mysterious disappearance shook the entire kingdom.
Meanwhile, in the north, the kingdom of Martia has been watching Zalumi for years. The Amazails are also lurking in the south.
They are both tired of being vassal countries. They are tired of paying tribute to the Zenman Empire.
They are watching Zalumi like a hawk, waiting for the right moment to act.
Sources from the Iron Eagle, a mysterious organization from the kingdom of Zuda, have reported that Martia and Amazail are trying to form an alliance.
