Necronomicon: The Dawning of Darkness is not just a good game, it is a game with a strong plot and such a dense atmosphere that it is played in one breath, until the very end. You don’t have to worry about the horror either, the process of wandering through the dark dungeons of the magician, with the threat of becoming food for a “mystical experiment”, the roar of which illuminates the impenetrable darkness, is unlikely to leave anyone indifferent. When the main character read the formula for calling Yogsothoth-a in an ancient language, in complete darkness, illuminated only by the flickering flame of a candle – this is simply a masterpiece. And walking around the city of the Ancients caused me a week of claustrophobia. All the riddles of the game are organic, original and unusually logical, which makes the game very lively and rich.
