Shelley’s Haunted House is a 2D top-down survival horror game based on the story of Shelley’s Haunted House, a famous haunted place in the United States known for its eerie ghost, the Lady in Black.
The Shelley House belonged to a wealthy businessman named Marley, who bought it in the 1920s. His daughter, Mary, was a devil worshiper, and was called the Lady in Black or the Dark Witch due to her attire. She performed various dark rituals in her third-floor room and became addicted to it to the point of insanity. She was gradually possessed by a demon, and is said to have died mysteriously, with her body disappearing and never being found even after a thorough investigation by the authorities.
Mary was said to have realized her mistake in getting involved with black magic, but it was too late. The only thing that was left was a letter that was found in a drawer in her room and mysteriously disappeared when the authorities came to confiscate her belongings. Before the devil took complete possession of her, she wrote a letter in which she apologized to her family members, friends, and also asked for help because she finally realized that her life was in danger and that the devil was about to take her.
Even now, her spirit is present in the Shelley house and is often seen by people passing by in a window on the third floor. This house is considered one of the most haunted houses in the United States and is checked out from time to time by many paranormal enthusiasts.
You play as Joseph, a paranormal enthusiast, and you must explore Shelly’s house to check out paranormal activity. Will you be able to help the spirit of the lady in black and will you be able to escape the house alive?
