Cities in Motion: Design Marvels

The Design Wonders expansion adds five new vehicles to Cities in Motion. Increase your speed, efficiency and capacity with the following vehicles:

• Dino Vettore – The flagship of the Northern Italian transport company, the Vettore is one of the largest buses in the history of transport. It offers two levels of comfortable seating and stairs at the front and rear of the cabin. It can take on board a huge number of passengers.
• Comet Ambienta – The Comet Ambienta was introduced to the public in 1995 by the successful Swedish manufacturer. Its streamlined design is inspired by nature and new developments in space engineering. Designed to cause minimal damage to the environment, this bus is one of the “greenest” in the world. It is highly durable and produces incredibly little noise.
• Roto-Tec Leopard – Belgian helicopter manufacturer Roto-Tec was created through the merger of two smaller companies. The Leopard was originally created to meet the increasing demand for oil rig servicing. It has two reliable turboshaft engines and an extremely robust fuselage. The Leopard is a medium-weight helicopter with good capacity.
• Prospecta Experimental – The Prospecta Experimental’s design seeks to break not only the boundaries of tram design, but also to push the boundaries of transportation design in general. It has huge windows, smooth surfaces – and, most importantly, a zig-zag configuration of the carriages. The seating arrangement encourages social interactions between passengers and leaves plenty of open space in the carriages. One of the unusual design features is the use of balconies, which gives the tram a luxurious look. ProspectaExperimental runs on electricity and is a great choice for anyone who cares about the environment.
• Capitol W700 automatic – W700 is an aluminum subway train of six cars, produced by the American-Japanese factory Capitol. This is the seventh generation of driverless subway trains, controlled by an automatic system. In order to cope with rush hours, the seats are located along the carriage, which leaves more space for standing passengers. The W700 has low maintenance costs and economical energy consumption.
