With the new OMSI 2 City of Munich expansion, players will drive modern MAN Lion’s City buses through the center of Munich and its picturesque districts such as Schwabing, Maxvorstadt, Lehel, Haidhausen and Bogenhausen.
Discover famous Munich landmarks such as the Friedensengel (peace monument), the Haus der Kunst (art gallery), the so-called Chinese Tower, the Feldherrnhalle, the Siegestor (both war monuments), the Königsplatz, the residence of the Bavarian kings, the Pinakothek art center and the grand boulevard on Leopoldstrasse – all recreated in great detail on 30 km of bus route and 45 stops.
Each line has its own special features, whether it’s the museum line 100, the university line 153 or the line 150 through the heart of Schwabing and straight through the English Garden, Munich’s large city park.
The MAN Lion’s City city buses (both single and articulated) as well as the so-called Hess bus trailer have been modeled in great detail based on the original Munich city buses, including modern repaints as well as numerous advertisements.
During their journey, players follow a realistic schedule on the original bus routes. Along the way, they encounter modern vehicles with artificial intelligence as well as detailed trams and city trains.
