Months of hard training should finally bear fruit. Suddenly, you are caught in a monstrous sandstorm and find yourself alone in the middle of a cruel and unforgiving desert. There is no one and nothing around but an ocean of sand.

The scorching heat on your skin, sand flying straight into your face. All around is an endless desert… but wait, what is that? Something is moving in the distance. What happened?

First thought: survive.

Second thought: someone will definitely come to help.

Bitter realization: no one will come, you are on your own now.

The question remains: where are you and why are there two moons in the sky?

Starsand takes you to an open world, a bit like Earth, but completely different in essence. Here you have to survive in the desert, full of dangers, secrets and mysteries! You must find out what exactly happened, where you are and what connects you with the vanished civilization. Will you be able to survive in this harsh place, find answers and return home?

Find shelter and water. Find life. Use your powers wisely: avoid unnecessary movements in the heat, warm up on the coldest nights. You must maintain your sanity to survive.

Find food, make weapons and build a shelter. You should secure the shelter – the dunes are teeming with terrible creatures.

In the desert, you are both the hunter and the prey. Insect-like predators emerge from their dark nests in search of food. Light a fire, blow up enemies with coconut grenades, defend your base and do whatever it takes to survive.

Find your way in the vast and lonely desert, search for a road in sandstorms and mark your way. During the day, thirst and terrible heat threaten you, and at night – cold. Learn to survive in this difficult world and see its beauty. Learn from animals and nature itself!
