You’ve hunted in the hills of Hirschfelden and explored the famous Leyton region. Now you’ll embark on a unique hunting expedition to the Medvezhya Taiga National Park and encounter some truly wild nature. Inspired by the harsh, icy landscapes of Siberia, this region will take you through the unforgiving tundra, see the drunken forest and cross an icy bay. The capricious weather here changes instantly, and at any moment you may find yourself in the middle of a snowstorm or on cracking ice.
FAUNA OF THE MEDVEZHYA TAIGA PARK
Despite the gloomy appearance of the Medvezhya Taiga Park, life here is in full swing. In its vast expanses you will see not only musk deer, reindeer and wild boar, but also larger animals – majestic moose and ferocious brown bears. However, the most interesting animal that hunters will encounter in this reserve is the cunning and elusive lynx.
QUESTS AND SCALE
The Medvezhya Taiga National Park is as big as Hirschfelden and the Leyton Region. On 64 square kilometers of open world, you will find a new exciting story with 32 story and 50 additional tasks and a great many stunningly beautiful landscapes.
You will play as a hunter and survivalist helping Alena Khada and her scientific expedition. Alena is not only an experienced climatologist; the tribe in which she was born and raised has been breeding reindeer since ancient times. Her valuable experience and advice will help you get through all the trials. The expedition members have already failed on the first day. You have to gather a group, help the locals and make sure that everyone completes the journey safely. But this task is not easy, because not everyone wishes you luck.
SHARE YOUR IMPRESSIONS
As before, those who have not purchased the new add-on will be able to play online for free in the Medvezhya Taiga National Park by joining a player who has it. When playing online, hunters compete or help each other, and without mutual assistance it will be difficult for them in this harsh reserve. Of course, owners of ATVs (sold as a separate add-on) will be able to ride them freely around the park. Riding on ice is an exciting pastime not for the faint of heart!

To celebrate the release of the Medvezhya Taiga National Park expansion, all theHunter: Call of the Wild players will receive a free new outfit (purchased with in-game currency) that can be used in any of the game reserves. And for those brave enough to brave the harsh Siberian wilderness, an exclusive weapon variant can be found throughout the new story campaign…
A WASTELAND BUBBLE WITH LIFE
The Medvezhya Taiga National Park is unlike anything you’ve ever seen before (and you’ve probably never hunted in such conditions!). The melting permafrost that covers the region has created a massive sinkhole. The roots of the trees are close to the surface of the earth, and when the soil slides, their trunks bend, forming areas of drunken forest.
Even the rocks could not withstand the harsh weather. Over the course of thousands of years, it has worn down and polished the majestic Lena Pillars, slowly creating their recognizable silhouette.
