Untamed: Life of a Cougar takes wildlife simulation to the next level by faithfully replicating the life of a mountain lion in the wild. You have a large area with a variety of environments, from grassy mountains to dense forests, and a wide variety of animals to kill and eat.

At the beginning of the game, players will have to find a mate. After mating, the player will have a litter of 3 cubs. Cubs start their life very early and will not even be able to run or walk quickly. This stage, as in real life, is the most difficult and makes both mother and cub vulnerable, any mistake can lead to the death of all cubs.

As the cubs grow older, they become more active and can run, but hunger and predators are still a serious threat.

Each character in Untamed: Life of a Cougar has unique behavior, and the player will have to learn to interact with and adapt to these behaviors. Using “cougar vision”, players will be able to spot prey or predators from a distance, and thanks to a reliable stealth system, they will be able to track down prey before it makes a deadly attack to get food. But survival does not end there, because sometimes the player will have to protect their prey from scavengers.

The controls are easy to get used to, they support key bindings. Players have the option to lock the frame rate at 60 or 30 frames per second, and a hint system and various tips will help the player not to get lost in the gameplay.
