Bannermen is a real-time strategy (RTS) game that focuses on managing individual units as well as map control. With the complexity of chess, you must adapt and outsmart your enemies in real time while gathering information through reconnaissance. Every encounter is critical.

The game has two resources – wood and gold. The game takes inspiration from its predecessors in the genre and has a very high skill ceiling, but is also easier to get into than similar competitive RTS games.

Staying true to its roots, Bannermen takes the best elements of the genre and adds its own unique flavor to them. The nature of the game is competitive. Matches typically last 10-25 minutes, depending on the style of play. This fast-paced game format allows for an intuitive learning curve and gets you up to speed, as well as being easier to learn than other RTS games.
