Game description

This content pack introduces Lady of the Sixth Sky, ruler of the Maya, and Simón Bolívar, leader of Gran Colombia. The Maya can build thriving cities early in the game, surrounded by farms and plantations. These cities are defended by unique Hul’che warriors. Gran Colombia relies on highly mobile armies led by the talented Comandante generals of Simón Bolívar.

Includes the Maya civilization with Lady of the Sixth Sky, the Hul’che unique unit , and the Observatory unique district&nbsp.

  • Civ Unique Ability: The Mayab ability gives the Maya bonuses to housing and production from farms, as well as an amenity bonus for rare resources adjacent to the city center. Building a city near a coast or fresh water does not provide a housing bonus.
  • Unique Leader Ability: The Lady of the Sixth Sky has the Ix-Mutal-Ahav ability, which causes Maya within 6 tiles of her capital to gain productivity bonuses in other cities, and their units to gain combat bonuses.
  • Unique Unit: The Hul’che, a more powerful alternative to the Archer. The Hul’che gain a combat bonus when attacking a wounded enemy.
  • Unique District: The Observatory, which replaces the Maya Campus, provides a minor adjacency bonus to Farms and a major adjacency bonus to Plantations.

Also includes Gran Colombia with Simón Bolívar, unique units (Llanero and Comandante Generals), and the unique improvement – the Hacienda.

  • Civ Unique Ability: The Ejercito Patriota ability grants all Gran Colombia units extra movement. Promoting a unit does not end its turn.
  • Leader Unique Ability: Simón Bolívar has the Campaign Admirable ability, which causes Gran Colombia to gain a Comandante General whenever it advances to a new age.
  • Unique Units: Gran Colombia has two unique units:
  • The Comandante General is a Great Leader with special abilities, including passive and retirement abilities.
  • Llaneros are Gran Colombia’s replacement for cavalry. They are cheaper to maintain, gain a combat bonus for each adjacent Llanero, and are fully healed if a nearby Comandante General activates their ability.
  • Unique improvement: Hacienda provides bonuses to production, gold, and housing, and a bonus to food for each adjacent plantation.

New game mode: Apocalypse (requires the Civilization VI Expansion Pack)

  • Adds new disasters to all games: Wildfires and Meteor Showers.
  • Additional game mode with special rules:
  • New disasters: Comet Impact and Solar Flares.
  • Existing disasters are more dangerous.
  • New military support unit: Soothsayer, which can cause disasters at the player’s command.
  • New competition: Sacrificing units in volcanoes. The sacrifice requires a Soothsayer to perform, which uses his unique ability on allied units near the volcano.
  • When climate change reaches its peak, the planet will experience an apocalyptic scenario.

New resources:

  • Honey. A rare resource.
  • Corn. A bonus.

New natural wonders:

  • Bermuda Triangle. When crossing it, sea units gain additional movement points and are teleported to another area of the ocean.
