Combat Mission Black Sea

Combat Mission Black Sea is a military simulation depicting a fictional series of escalations between Russia and Ukraine that lead to open conflict in the summer of 2017. As Russian forces advance into Ukrainian territory, the Ukrainians do everything they can to defend their country from a numerically and technologically superior enemy. Events surrounding the invasion force NATO to send its Forward Rapid Deployment Force to stop the Russian advance. A brutal scenario, to be sure, but it provides a glimpse into what modern full-spectrum tactical warfare is like in the near abroad.
