Do you want to craft magnificent blades and brew powerful drinks for the local adventurers? If the answer is yes – and why not? – then the position of local trainee alchemist-smith has just become available, thanks to a personnel complaint from the local dragon who decided to eat our last trainee. A cauldron is a great tool for any alchemist. It can create some pretty powerful potions. I know, I had a good time during my student years creating a few potions as a joke. Good times…. Anyway, in the cauldron you will need to mix several herbs to create useful items, such as health potions or to recharge enchantment stones.
What are enchantment stones? They are stones with the ability to enchant things. It’s not rocket science, I mean witchcraft, well, maybe… Anyway! Enchantment stones can be used on swords and daggers to give them new properties, such as fire and ice. Simply engrave an engraving on the sword or dagger you want to enchant (I usually use various obscenities in different languages), then run the enchanted stone over the dagger until it glows. Job done! You will have a legendary enchanted sword fit for any adventurer. Just be careful when swinging the stones, we are not responsible for third degree burns caused by using enchanted stones.
More often than not, local adventurers do not take good care of their blades. This results in even the most capricious beast leaving the adventurer running to mommy with a few dozen bruises. These adventurers need someone to fix their blades so they can go back and defeat the enemy that made them look foolish and try to regain some dignity. Fix their blades using a forge, anvil, and hammer. Remember, an adventurer with a broken blade is a pathetic excuse for a human, so treat them with kindness and respect… After they leave and pay for your services, you are welcome to chuckle or laugh at their shocking disregard for the safety of their weapon, with our permission.
