Hearts of Iron IV: No Step Back

No Step Back is a new expansion for the global strategy Hearts of Iron IV, in which Paradox Interactive reveals the theme of the crisis of the 1930s and the subsequent Second World War. In the expansion, you will find an in-depth development of the gameplay for the countries of Eastern Europe, unique mechanics reflecting the state of affairs in the Soviet government, as well as many military innovations.

With Hearts of Iron IV: No Step Back, the game will feature:

• New national focuses for the USSR.

   

• New national focuses for Poland.

   

• New national focuses for the Baltics. General and separate lines of alternative history for Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

   

• Officer staff of the army. The correct choice of General Staff officers will help to profitably apply new technologies and tactical discoveries.

   

• Fighting spirit. Focus on specific characteristics of your troops by strengthening certain combat units or changing the composition of squads.

   

• Updated supply system. The set of logistics mechanics has been expanded with scorched earth tactics, floating seaports and special supply units.

   

• Tank development. With the new module system, priority can be given to speed, firepower, armor reliability and even production cost.

   

• Railway artillery. A unique and most famous type of heavy weapon, specially designed for attacking trenches and fortified positions.
