Kainga is a game about developing an ancient village in an unusual world full of surprises. The weather, huge beasts and other tribes will easily erase you from future history books, so the one who adapts will survive. In each new game, the culture, technology and appearance of your village will be unique and will depend on the environment, available resources and your decisions. Create new cities for each playthrough and uncover the secrets of this world!

In the center of your village is the “Thinker”. This is a slow and weak character, but he leads your people forward and discovers new technologies – protect it at all costs! The Thinker can discover technologies from sources of inspiration scattered around the map. Develop your village enough to pass the Thinker’s test – and move on to a new one!

Shelter, food, and resources are a must, but the most important thing in Kainga is unusual technologies. Windmills drive away bad weather, balloons burst clouds, and pots fill with the smoke of oblivion – are just a few of the technologies you can master.

Train warriors and tame beasts

Kainga is full of life. Here you can find everything from giant acid-spitting snails to subterranean leviathans. Learn to live peacefully alongside these beasts or tame them, build on them, and lead them into battle!

Protect Your People

Each game will feature challenges, raids, and waterborne ambushes. Grow your forces and train your warriors to use swords, spears, bows, and guns. Protect the Thinker and your workers from invaders.
