The first game of the new strategy series “History of Wars”, covering various periods of development of modern civilization – from the Middle Ages to the New Age, represents one of the most dramatic episodes in Russian history.

The 13th century. Rus’ is a huge state, much larger than any of the European countries. Fragmented by civil strife, it still finds the strength to hold back the onslaught of its overzealous Western neighbors. However, it can no longer cope with the destructive invasion of the Golden Horde.
