With the new Family Builder feature, you have much more control over your starting family. Customize the age and appearance of each character, as well as the size of the family. Do you want to start with a horde of children or none at all? You can even start with an empty house, which will be an additional challenge.

Tailor your children to your needs

With new events related to raising your child, you can influence their growth and development. Determine their personality and the skills they will acquire. Or use them as political pawns to build trust with vassals and close rulers.

Control Who Becomes the Heir

New succession models have been added, giving players more options and control over who ascends to power in the dynasty. Disinherit family members and appoint new heirs wisely to keep everyone in line. And when you’re tired of ruling, abdicate and let the heirs clean up the mess.
