A new era is dawning in Tropico. El Presidente, the best leader of THE best nation, has proposed a visionary new expansion for the people of Tropico, turning to the great blue treasure that surrounds Tropico’s unrivaled shores – the ocean.

Tropico 6 – Tropican Shores opens up a host of new ways to build and expand your ocean island. Turn water into wine… sorry: turn water into electricity with the new Tidal Power Plant, harvest shiny pearls with the Pearl Divers, and offer your subjects a host of new (and very un-hut-like) housing options (beware: these houseboats may attract families of long-haired musicians).

Speaking of musicians, it wouldn’t be your favorite banana republic if tropicals and ultra-rich tourists didn’t have new ways to spend their hard-earned cash: a private yacht yard is ready to take over, but make sure there are no icebergs in sight!

With all the excitement of this news, you might need something relaxing to take your mind off your ocean preparations. Luckily, El Prez offers you restorative dolphin therapy – but be careful how you vote for him, or the dolphins might turn into sharks!

• Blue Treasure. 15 new buildings that open up additional opportunities for infrastructure, housing, entertainment, and public services. A new resource will appear in the game: pearls.
• El Presidente’s Yachts. Tropico 6 – Tropican Shores offers a new scenario that will help you better navigate the game’s innovations and speed up your expansion at sea.
• Bread and Circuses. Tropicans will be able to see for themselves how great you are — citizens will enjoy submarine excursions, Tropicanic, and relaxing dolphin therapy.
• A playground for a true leader. Dominance on land and at sea — four new maps for the sandbox mode: Pequeño Pero Mucho, Hipocampo, Las Manchas y Los Puntos, and a map from the “El Presidente’s Yachts” scenario”.
