Meet the dictator… I mean doctor! Calm down, citizens: the mobile doctor squad has taken up the task. Nothing to see here. Nothing to worry about either. Hold on and vote for El Presidente, or bad things will happen!
In Tropico 6’s “Going Viral” DLC , your job is to take care of the health of the nation, because a virus is spreading across the island! And the glorious President is the key figure who will control the masses with the help of diplomatic skills and new items, such as the mobile doctor squad, the medical checkpoint, the Colossal Hospital, and the Healing Mortar.
So, your goal is to find a cure and stop the panic among the Tropicans at any cost. Or… should you first use it for the well-being of the… um… entire Tropican nation? It’s worth at least considering, because panic can provide new opportunities to control subjects and influence the masses. But a good president should remember that dead citizens can’t vote!
- Find the cure in Tropico 6: Going Viral: Four different diseases are spreading across the island of Tropico, disrupting the calm flow of life. Some diseases can have a significant impact on citizens, while others may be a mild cold *cough cough*.
- Pull the strings and stay in control in a four-mission campaign, or fight the diseases on a new map in multiplayer mode.
- Keep calm… or panic! Influence the masses with the new Panic mechanic. The Panic meter shows how the citizens of Tropico feel about the disease. The higher the panic, the more serious the edicts. Choose: spread panic and use it for your own gain, or calm the populace faced with a potentially deadly threat?
- Vaccinate, ask questions later. The higher the panic, the sooner you will unlock 16 new amazing edictsthat can be used to exploit the disease on Tropico. Vaccinate everyone by force, force the population to wear masks, or throw a viral palace party – the choice is yours, El Presidente!
- Manage the Disease: 9 new buildings will change life on Tropico and give you new ways to manage the infestation. Use the Healing Mortarto quickly spread medicine across Tropico, or build the new Colossal Hospitalto accommodate all the sick. And Medical Checkpoints will help you find the infected! Additionally, the Healer’s Hut Ambrosius will be home to a curious Quackwho will help you deal with the disease during the campaign.
- Fight the disease in style with the best new El Presidente and Palace skins! Plague Doctor Outfit for El Presidente or Medical Fence to protect against the infected around the palace will help prepare for the epidemic!
